It started long ago, this fascination that Alena had for all the little things that she could find outside. She and her childhood friends would romp around from sunrise to sunset, creating little worlds of creatures that would come to life through their illustrations.
And so it continued to evolve, and now Alena also offers custom art and designs for both individuals and business entities. Some current and past clients include: Target, Urban Outfitters, ABC Studios, Galison/Mudpuppy, Papyrus, Monique Lllulier, and Lark & Loon.
Alena’s designs and work can be found through out the US and abroad, including ABC Carpet and Home in New York to Lavish in San Francisco to Click! Design That Fits in Seattle. She has received press from numerous publications including Dwell, The Washington Post, ReadyMade, Redbook and Natural Health magazine.
Alena lives in the lush and sweet city of Portland, Oregon with her tiny fox dog Mimi Simone.
