last week i had the pleasure of finally meeting ms. jena coray of the darling blog modish. we met at upper hawthorne at albina press coffeehouse. we spoke about art, business, portland, and of course boys! jena is in the middle of preparing for wedded bliss. so it was lovely to finally meet and i am going to give her a little painting as a wedding gift. it’s a nice feeling to bridge the blog/indie art world. slowly i have begun to meet people through out the years, faces behind the websites, so to speak.
anyhoo, i am off to a chinese lantern walk by the river. a group has organized it to celebrate the harvest moon, so people will be walking with handmade lanterns across all the bridges of portland. speaking of, the moon has been so beautiful lately. fall is most certainly in the air. more soon.
