“I once had a rose named after me and I was very flattered. But I was not pleased to read the description in the catalogue: no good in a bed, but fine up against a wall.” -Eleanor Roosevelt
ah, the rose. probably my favorite essential oil. to me, there is nothing like taking a stop to breathe in its pure aroma, which speaks to me of pure love and sensuality. the rose also has wonderful antibacterial and astringent qualities. it can make skin appear youthful and bright. thus, i wanted to share a favorite beauty treatment of mine.
~rose oil and honey face mask~
1/3 cup of ground organic oatmeal
4 teaspoons raw honey
1 teaspoon rosewater
2 to 3 drops of rose otto essential oil
